# Datasance

> Datasance builds PoT (Platform of Everything), an open-core edge orchestration platform for deploying, managing, and scaling containerized workloads across thousands of heterogeneous far-edge and IoT environments.

Datasance provides unified edge orchestration at scale. PoT is built on Eclipse ioFog v3 and targets enterprises running workloads on diverse edge hardware (amd64, arm64, riscv64, GPUs, industrial gateways) with optional air-gapped deployment.

Important notes:
- PoT stands for "Platform of Everything" — a self-hosted edge orchestration platform, not a hosted SaaS control plane
- The control plane runs entirely on customer infrastructure (Kubernetes, VMs, or bare metal)
- Key components: Edgelet (node agent), potctl (CLI), ECN Viewer (web UI)
